ABCHK Chalk Board A-Frames
Our ABCHK chalk board a-frames are meant for use with our liquid chalk markers only. The markers are specially designed for this series of chalk board a-frames. As you will see below, the chalk board surface is not designed for use with regular chalk. Regular chalk will leave a residue on the board, and gets "clumped up" when you try to write on this surface. Liquid chalk markers wipe away clean, and glide across the board's surface.
REGULAR CHALK VS. LIQUID CHALK MARKERS
     
Regular chalk "clumps up" on the surface of the boards. The chalk also leaves a residue that does not wipe clean. We do not recommend the use of regular chalk. Liquid chalk markers work similar to wet-erase markers. The liquid chalk goes on smoothly, and wipes away easily with a damp cloth. We recommend the use of these chalk markers. (Not for use with wet-erase markers.)
