Often times, end users who purchase our polyethylene sidewalk signs have a need for more sign boards. This sidewalk sign provides one of the smallest base footprints (22" x 20") of all the sign displays we currently sell. For those store owners with very little sidewalk space out in front, this could be the perfect choice. We include rock salt inside the fillable base. If you plan to use water as ballast, the rock salt will prevent the water from freezing, potentially damaging the base. Need a sidewalk sign with a blank canvas to apply your own signage? Let this display board act the backbone for custom-generated signs. The white sign board is a 3/8" thick piece of corrugated plastic (Coroplast). The board is framed with aluminum extrusion which easily be can be removed for applying your signage. The base is gray molded plastic and can be filled sand or water for ballast (note: the base does not have wheels for rollability). At the top of the base are two heavy duty springs that allow the sign board to deflect with the wind. The framed sign board slides onto two metal rods extending up from the springs.

Flatbed UV printing has made great strides in recent years. Large formats, quality of inks, and higher print resolutions have all combined to offer customers excellent printed graphics on sign boards. Buy these inexpensive sign stakes for all kinds of temporary outdoor signage. The "H" shaped design is made from 1/8" welded steel rod. Unlike real cheap sign stakes made from wire, these offer enough rigidity to allow for reuse.
These are cheap too ($1.05 each) but again, we stress that they can be used again and again. The lower cross bar acts as a foot rest to help set the stake into the ground.
We don't include the sign boards but we suggest the use of Coroplast®. Basically a plastic corrugated material (like box cardboard), it's a perfect match for these sign stakes. This inexpensive sign kit is very similar to the product spotlighted on June 4th. The sign is a do-it-yourself package which includes the two black plastic A-Frame end caps with two black bungee cords shown in the picture at right. You supply the sign boards to assemble with the two sides. What makes this product different is it comes with a special extender, allowing for the display of wider and larger sign boards.
The best material to use for this sign kit is Coroplast, a corrugated plastic sheet known for its versatility and inexpensive cost. This sign-making material can be used to apply computer-cut vinyl lettering or it can be directly printed on with a UV flatbed printer. The two A-Frame end caps can accommodate board sizes from 18" x 24" to 36"' x 60" and beyond. We provide you with the stake only; you provide the signs (corrugated plastic boards are best). This affordable A-frame sign is one of the more unique products recently launched. It's essentially a do-it-yourself sign, where we provide the two A-frame end caps and you provide the sign board. Shipped flat, your purchase includes the two triangular end caps with two black bungee cords. The way this sign works is once you add your sign board to the assembly, the bungees pull the end caps tightly against it, thereby locking the parts together as a whole.
The best sign material to use is Coroplast® with the grain running horizontally. This orientation allows you to display a single 24" x 48" piece, folded at the top like a tent to make the (2) 24" x 24" signs shown at right. Featured today is this tough sidewalk sign in black polyetheylene. We spotlighted a similar product a few weeks ago (in white) that did not include the sign boards necessary for display. This model in black is the same product but instead we include two pre-cut signboards, just to make your life that much easier! The added convenience of including sign boards simply leaves you the task of attaching posters or adding vinyl graphics.
The two sign boards are black Coroplast®. It's virtually identical to the corrugated cardboard used for boxes, but it's made of plastic. As the picture illustrates, the 2 boards simply insert at the top and drop down into the channel of the sidewalk display (on both sides, remember it's double-sided). The black polyethylene sign frame is super durable and the base feet are fillable to increase the sign's stability during windy conditions. This sidewalk sign displays fairly large-size 30" x 40" graphics. It's double-sided so you are able to show the same or different graphics on both sides. The posters are inset behind snap frame edges for real easy poster changes. On the inside of each snap frame edge there is a rubber gasket which is pressed over the protective lens and poster, creating an effective seal against water damage.

This swing frame letter board packs quite a punch. Unlike most of our other sidewalk letter board signs that use 3-1/2" letters, this model features larger, 5" sized letters. The larger the font, the greater the impact, especially if these signs are seen from moving cars. It is an indoor-only display but can be used outdoors as long as the location is covered or protected. In this case it would be a good choice for using inside malls, galleries, restaurants, and shopping centers. The need for cheap sign stakes is great for a large number of businesses. Retailers, golf courses, real estate agencies, and security companies often use these inexpensive foot stakes for advertising, way-finding, or warning. We're sure you've all seen real estate signs that look like the one pictured here while out and about. This sign holder shows a hanging sign supported by the crossbar in an old-fashioned style frame. On the surface it looks like any other, but this particular sign holder offers something different. With most frames of this type (made from either wood or plastic), you need to dig a hole for the post. Can you guess what separates this sign frame from the others?

When it comes to manually writing messages, promotions, menu specials, etc., wet erase markers out-do traditional stick chalk any day. We searched the world over for these markers and, while that may sound ridiculous, it is pretty much the truth. We tested tons of brands and these wet erase markers produced the best results for even flow, good fluidity, and bright neon coloration. These particular wet erase markers come in sets of six bright colors: white, pink, blue, yellow, orange, and green.
We sell an entire line of wet erase markers with varying sizes of tips. This set features 1/16" ultra thin-line bullet tips, but also available are flat and chisel tips offered in thicknesses up to 5/8". Wet erase markers can be used on most smooth non-pourous surfaces like acrylic and glass. We discussed this sidewalk sign base last week but decided today to feature its cousin (which includes a sign board). It's a sturdy white Coroplast board, 3/8" thick with black plastic trim. At the bottom there are two predrilled holes to accept the screws in the holding clamps on the base. The size of the sign board is 24" x 29" and is double sided.
As the picture to the right clearly shows, the Coroplast sign board can be used as a marker board. We recommend the use of wet erase markers or liquid chalk markers (sold separately). To erase your messages, use warm water or glass cleaner and a cloth. Another application can be vinyl sign lettering applied right to the surface of the board for a permanent sign display, supplied by a local sign shop. Or mount posters or other advertisements. Just remember, this sign display goes outdoors so plan your end use accordingly!

Just launched on the SidewalkSigns.us.com website is this handy sign base, sold on its own without the signboard. (We also sell the same product with a sign board...click here). The plastic molded base is fillable and can hold up to 4 gallons of water or sand. When filled, the base weighs around 30 lbs, enough to prevent your sign board from tipping over.
The sign base is molded with smooth edges all around. Contoured handles (hidden behind the board in this picture) allow for easy carrying and transporting. We suggest the use of rigid sign board materials, such as Sintra or Coroplast, to use with this sign base product. The board slides between the two clamps on top of the base and is secured with two screws. Both sides of the sign board are visible so count on using this sign base to advertise in both directions out on the sidewalk!

Wet erase boards are handy advertising and marketing tools, especially when used outdoors on the sidewalk. Problem is, in the case of rain, your hand-written messages are subject to ruination due to the fact the markers are "wet erase".

When it comes to sidewalk signs, being portable is a necessary function. Their very existence depends on their ability to move outside in the morning, then inside in the evening, back and forth, back and forth, ad finitum. While some sidewalk signs fold up to be carried, others take the luggage angle. Remember luggage bags before wheels? There was an idea whose time was very late in coming.

We've just added this economic real estate sign frame to our product line. It's an a-frame by design, fabricated out of round-rod steel with a durable black finish. Besides offering our products to end users, we also end up supplying signshops and resellers with signs to sell to their customers. The bulk of these products are definitely the blank frames because signage or other substrates are required to be cut to size and slid into the frames. Signshops in particular are used to working with these products, and can not only cut the sign boards to size but also provide their customer with the vinyl lettering or printing for said sign.
This blank a-frame features all-steel construction with a gloss finish. The hinges allow for easy folding during non-use. At the top of the frame there are lids for each signboard that open up. Your 1/4" thick boards slide in there and the tops simply fold down once the boards are in place. Since there is no clear lens to protect paper posters and graphics, we recommend the use of weather-resistant sign boards such as Coroplast or Sintra. This week we are spotlighting a product that should have been offered a long time ago. Most sandwich board frames are made for standard size boards, like 18" x 24", and 24" x 36". While those sizes may seem logical, it's nothing further from the truth when it comes to efficiency. We're talking about "full sheet" efficiency. Signshops will usually buy sheet stock in 48" x 96" sheets to cut down smaller boards for these sign frames. If you do the math, those two standard sizes mentioned above with leave you with an unusable leftover piece (or pieces) from the full sheet. The yield is inefficient, which increases the cost of your sign by not utilizing the material to the fullest.
This is where our unique frame comes in. This blank sign channel is sized for 23" x 31" sign boards. While slightly different when compared to standard sizes, these will provide a "perfect yield" from a 48" x 96" full sheet with very little waste. Think about it. SidewalkSigns.us.com supplies a wide variety of neon brite fluorescent markers. These markers are "wet erase". Unlike typical dry erase boards that use an eraser to clear the surface, you'll need a damp cloth to wipe these markings off. These can be used on virtually any non-porous surface like glass, metals, acrylics, and other hard plastics. However by far the best use for our markers are illuminated marker boards. The fluorescent markings are visible when the boards are turned off but, look out, once they're turned on your messages glow like neon! This set of 6 markers includes these colors: white, yellow, green, blue, pink, and orange. The wide 3/8" flat tips generate thick, continuous lines.
We searched the world over for these markers, obtaining samples from all around the globe. Our specifications included quick-drying ink (to reduce smudging) and permanence (to reduce accidental erasing when dry).
